We’re looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join our marketing team for the 2026-27 season. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, exposure to modern tools like Marketo and AI platforms, and the chance to develop marketable skills while supporting ticket sales, fan engagement, and community initiatives.
About the role
This part-time position is based in Sandy, UT, and runs through the end of the NHL season, with a schedule of 30 hours per week, including some nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives that drive revenue, engage fans, and develop new audiences.
- Support internal departments in achieving their business goals through marketing efforts.
- Help write, edit, build, test, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns in Marketo.
- Assist with app push notification campaigns, including setup, copy, audience coordination, scheduling, QA, and performance tracking.
- Maintain marketing calendars for email, app push, advertising, promotional campaigns, youth programs, brand initiatives, and fan engagement.
- Collaborate with the brand creative team to create collateral for marketing, ticketing, corporate partnerships, team store, game presentation, community relations, and public relations.
- Support corporate partnership team’s campaign activations and executions.
- Ensure campaign creative, copy, and flighting remain cohesive across all channels throughout the season.
- Maintain consistency of marketing communications across multiple media channels and deliver projects on time and on strategy.
- Manage and fulfill internal and external print projects.
- Use approved AI tools to support marketing workflows, including research, first-draft copy, campaign organization, content versioning, and process efficiency.
- Protect the reputation of the company and exemplify the Utah Mammoth mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated in marketing or a related field.
- Available to work 30 hours a week, including some nights and weekends.
- Previous marketing experience preferred.
- Experience building and managing email marketing campaigns (Marketo experience preferred).
- Experience with app push notification campaigns preferred.
- Familiarity with digital campaign QA, audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and interest in learning how AI can support marketing strategy, copywriting, research, and project management.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
