Responsibilities
- Plan and execute non-paid marketing strategies to drive merchant acquisition for the New Verticals Marketplace business
- Own the Shopify partner marketing workstream, including email retargeting campaigns, App Store optimization, and co-marketing initiatives
- Develop content and messaging for SMB retail audiences, including case studies, merchant testimonials, and blog content
- Build and manage content syndication and trade media placements
- Develop a paid creative testing roadmap in partnership with paid media and creative agency teams
- Manage SEO and content agency workstreams, ensuring deliverable quality and timeline adherence
- Cross-coordinate cross-functional marketing initiatives with Paid Media, CRM, Brand, and external agency partners
- Ensure marketing campaigns are integrated, sequenced appropriately, and provide a consistent merchant experience
- Develop, plan, and execute partner marketing, content marketing, SEO, agency management, and campaign initiatives
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B marketing, SMB marketing, content marketing, or integrated marketing
- Experience managing partner marketing and content marketing initiatives from strategy through execution
- Experience writing creative briefs and managing agency and creative partners
- Experience with the Shopify merchant ecosystem or SMB e-commerce platforms
- Strong copywriting and messaging skills for SMB audiences
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience with SEO, AEO, and landing page optimization
- Experience managing SEO agencies and evaluating optimization strategies
- Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong bias for action and execution
