SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator II to implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout project phases. Strong communication skills are essential as interactions will span all levels in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes using appropriate technology platforms - Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D for designing optimized road and site grading models, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading groups, etc. - Work with survey data; communicate with project field teams using Trimble Business Center software to deliver designs to survey equipment - May involve existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling - Serve as a point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction - Document work processes to improve and/or change current company process standards - Assist in training on VDC processes - Actively participate in Mortenson’s IDAT (Integrated Delivery Advancement Team) community of practice, sharing knowledge - Perform daily work planning - Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent field - Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and/or ArcGIS software - 4+ years related experience - Survey data knowledge and/or experience is preferred - GIS data management is a plus - Completion of intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training - Detail orientation sufficient to handle multiple project tasks simultaneously - Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices - Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level - Positive and professional attitude, strong customer service skills - Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively - Strong communication, teamwork orientation, initiative, problem-solving, and leadership skills - Open to change based on diverse input and feedback - Current driver’s license

(Actual range is higher for Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
