Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

World Relief seeks a Case Manager to deliver comprehensive support and ongoing community orientation to immigrant families. In this role, you will help clients navigate detention services, enroll children in school, access medical care, apply for public benefits, and connect with external community resources. This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until 6/30/2027 and contingent upon funding extension.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with immigrant families, asylum seekers, parolees, and visa holders to identify needs, overcome barriers, and connect them with appropriate community resources
• Assist families in accessing and understanding public benefits programs, including Medicaid, All Kids, VTTC, and WIC
• Orient participants to the healthcare system by helping schedule and attend appointments, arranging or providing transportation, and assisting with physician communication
• Educate families on navigating their new surroundings in Chicagoland and research community resources, such as food pantries, housing support, ESL classes, healthcare, and legal services
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential digital and physical client files, case notes, and internal database tracking systems
• Actively participate in team meetings, program trainings, and supervision check-ins while applying trauma-informed practices and high confidentiality standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
• Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
• Valid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, International Relations, or a related field (or equivalent combination
