Maintain cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of the exterior and interior of all buses used for LPS activities.
Dispense fuel and paperwork
Dispense fuel into buses and complete proper paperwork for record.
Receive and inspect buses
- Receive incoming buses that were used for activities
- Inspect those vehicles for any possible body damage that might have occurred during use
Driver requirements
- Achieve a Class B CDL and an Oklahoma School Bus Driver Certificate within the first 6 months of employment
Assist in monitoring
Absorb responsibility for monitoring the Transportation building during the evening hours while on shift.
Bus inspection duties
- Check buses for proper fluid levels, such as oil, coolant, and brake fluid
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Other duties
Be prepared to assist with any other tasks assigned by the Director of Transportation.

- Exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
- Exposed to extreme heat and vibrations
