Insurance Sales Rep- Farmers Ins. Agency Producer/CSR

About the role

You will work closely with a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner to help grow the agency through sales, marketing, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to build a career in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business
• Manage existing client relationships
• Support the agency's overall growth objectives
• Proactively prospect for new clients through referrals, networking, cold calling, and lead generation
• Present and sell a variety of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance, to meet the needs of clients
• Maintain and build long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and addressing their ongoing insurance needs
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, assist clients in selecting appropriate coverage, and complete the policy issuance process
• Review policies with existing clients, offer policy upgrades, and ensure renewals are handled smoothly
• Participate in local marketing initiatives and community events to increase brand visibility and attract potential clients
• Afford administrative tasks such as managing client files, handling billing inquiries, and processing claims

Requirements

• Licensing: Must be willing to obtain state insurance licenses (auto, home, life, etc.). Farmers will provide guidance and support in obtaining these licenses.
• Sales Skills: Strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals (insurance sales experience is a plus).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain insurance products and build rapport with clients.
• Customer Focus: A customer-centric attitude with a desire to help individuals and businesses protect what matters most.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with using CRM software, quoting tools, and other technology platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
