Lead a team of insurance professionals while driving new business, retention, and growth in assigned region(s).
Responsibilities
- Execute the annual sales plan to meet targeted growth and profitability for the line of business.
- Collaborate with the National Insurance Sales Leader and other sales leaders to create an executable annual business plan that increases Huntington Insurance brand awareness in assigned markets.
- Develop strategies to support internal bank partnerships (OCR) and enhance client engagement and relationship management.
- Drive and monitor the implementation of the sales process, ensuring OCR referrals are assigned to the most appropriate colleagues.
- Support new business submission and renewal strategies for prospects and customers in the region.
- Manage pipeline and reporting, sales forecasting, sales analysis, and performance tracking of assigned producers and markets.
- Identify, recruit, and retain high-caliber sales professionals and service team members.
- Assist with succession and growth planning for producer roles and talent pipeline in conjunction with the National Insurance Sales Leader.
- Foster a productive sales and marketing culture, resolving conflicts between producers as needed.
- Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports and others on the sales process.
- Provide data for monthly forecast calls and business reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in Property & Casualty Commercial Lines with a strong regional or large national insurance brokerage firm.
- Property & Casualty Insurance license (must obtain within 90 days of role).
- Other insurance licenses as needed.

- Proven record of success developing producers, growing revenues, and improving profitability.

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for presentations and analysis.
- Familiarity with Agency Management Systems (preference for Tableau, Sagitta, and Vertafore).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
