Lead a team of insurance professionals while driving new business, retention, and growth across assigned regions.
Responsibilities
- Execute the annual sales plan to meet targeted growth and profitability for the line of business; collaborate with the National Insurance Sales Leader and other solution-line leaders to build an executable business plan that raises Huntington Insurance brand awareness in assigned markets.
- Develop strategies that strengthen internal bank partnerships (OCR) and deepen internal/external Centers of Influence (COIs) by assigning the right sales colleagues to the right segments.
- Drive and monitor the sales process; partner with the National Insurance Sales Leader to ensure OCR referrals are assigned to the most appropriate colleagues and facilitate transfers when activity is insufficient.
- Instill routine management protocols to align activity with producer sales goals; support new-business submission and renewal strategies for prospects and customers in the region.
- Manage pipeline and reporting, sales forecasting, sales analysis, and performance tracking for assigned producers and markets.
- Identify, recruit, and retain high-caliber sales professionals and service team members; assist with succession and growth planning for producer roles and talent pipeline.
- Actively develop and maintain a productive sales and marketing culture; resolve producer conflicts, escalating to the National Insurance Sales Leader as needed.
- Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports and others on the sales process.
- Provide data for monthly forecast calls and business reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in Property & Casualty Commercial Lines with a strong regional or large national insurance brokerage firm.
- Property & Casualty Insurance license (must obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Additional insurance licenses as required.

- Familiarity with Agency Management Systems (preference for Tableau, Sagitta, and Vertafore).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
Exempt status: not eligible for overtime pay.
