Insurance Sales Apprentice - Paid Path to Farmers Agency Owner
About the role
The Jennifer Hickman Agency, the #1 agency in Farmers' San Antonio district and a Presidents Council agency (Farmers' top 1% nationwide) for nearly a decade straight, is opening a limited number of seats in its 9‑Month Protégé Program: a paid, structured apprenticeship designed to develop driven people into Farmers Agents. You earn while you learn over nine months, three tiers, a daily scoreboard, and a team that has already done it coaching you every single day. At the end you don't get a promotion — you become a Farmers Agent and build a book of business that is yours. This is not a get‑rich‑quick pitch; being a Farmers Agent takes work, discipline, and leadership. The difference here is you won't figure it out alone.
Program structure
Days 1–30: Licensing boot camp at the Farmers District 46 office in San Antonio. Full‑time, paid. You sit the Texas Property & Casualty exam in week 1 and Life & Health in week 2 (courses provided), then two weeks of systems, scripts, and live calling before reporting to the agency.
Months 1–8: Three tiers at the agency in Universal City.
- Tier 1: Systems and outbound volume.
- Tier 2: Adds life, commercial, and referral partners; you train the Tier 1 protégés coming in behind you.
- Tier 3: Independent production, running the daily huddle, and writing your Farmers business plan.
Every tier has production minimums you must hit to advance. Nobody graduates early, and nobody coasts. A 15‑minute standing huddle every morning at 8:30 AM, led by the senior protégé. AI call coaching scores your real calls and role‑plays so you improve every week. Proven scripts, lead lists, referral systems, and automation from a top‑performing agency, plus Farmers District 46's training and coaching behind you the whole way.
