Insurance Producer - Hillsville, VA

About the role

As an Insurance Producer with Horace Mann, you will provide auto, home, and life insurance products, as well as retirement and financial solutions specifically geared to and priced for educators. The role reports to the Regional Field Leader (Agency Consultant) and offers uncapped earning potential along with a professional training program.

Compensation

• Performance‑based compensation package with a 36‑month incentive and “enhanced” commissions.
• Monthly incentives based on sales volume during months 1‑36.
• Quarterly production incentives for the first 36 months.
• No external office requirement.
• Access to a niche market and a “One‑Stop Shop” multi‑line product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate efforts to solving the financial challenges educators face.
• Present information to potential customers one‑on‑one and in large groups.
• Attend networking, community, sales, and industry events.
• Gain market access and build relationships.
• Prospect and work within established books of business while building your own practice.
• Invest time and resources to ensure business success.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain resident General Lines – Life and Health license.
• Ability to obtain Property and Casualty license.
