What You’ll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by networking with local businesses, centers of influence, and referral partners across a range of industries.
  • Consult with business owners and executives to assess risk exposures and recommend tailored insurance programs.
  • Develop customized proposals and present professional, consultative solutions designed to protect clients’ assets, operations, and employees.
  • Collaborate with carrier partners and BayCoast’s in-house marketing and account management teams to structure competitive coverage and pricing.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive service, annual policy reviews, and responsive support that drives retention and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate sales and pipeline data within the agency CRM to manage leads and monitor production goals.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics established by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Active MA or RI Property & Casualty Producer license. BayCoast will work with the right candidate to obtain the required licensing.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, account management, or business development (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of business operations, commercial risk exposures, and insurance coverages (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
