About the role
The Automotive Services Division of Holman is seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team. This position will handle various customer interactions, assist with policy administration, and contribute to the growth and success of our insurance operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer phone calls and resolve issues or route to appropriate team members.
- Follow-up with customers as needed to ensure requests have been met.
- Process policy changes, answer billing questions, issue insurance documents and certificates, and manage other service requests.
- Absorb and file insurance policy documents and customer information for the sales team.
- Assist the customer support team with policy audits, data uploads/downloads, and retention efforts.
- Engage in proactive efforts to maximize renewal retention through monitoring policy expiration reports, placing renewal calls, and remarketing policies.
- Work closely with the management team to achieve premium, retention, and growth targets for all lines of selected business.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the insurance group at all Holman functions and across the organization.
- Interact with account representatives and customer service personnel as needed to support the business's growth and service objectives.
- Complete administrative tasks as directed by the leadership team, including taking calls, making calls, responding to emails, filing, sorting and distributing mail, assisting with events, and supporting the finance and accounting team.
- Dedicate to delivering exceptional customer care to all prospects and clients of the business.
- Interact comfortably, both over the phone and in person, with prospects, clients, referral sources, and business colleagues.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience as determined by department management.
- MUST have Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Property and Casualty insurance experience is preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility in work schedule. This position will require some evening and Saturday hours.
- Qualified candidates will also be able to travel within the local NJ and PA markets for meetings, prospecting calls, and network development.
- Able to adapt and change as the business grows.
- Highly organized and exceptional at following-up on assigned tasks.
- A demonstrated ability to develop genuine relationships with selected business partners and fellow team members within the insurance operation.
- Outgoing and able to inspire and motivate potential referral sources.
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care to all prospects and clients of the business.
- Able to interact comfortably, both over the phone and in person, with prospects, clients, referral sources, and business colleagues.

Pay
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $22.59 - $29.94 USD per hour.
