Insurance Coverage & Extra Contractual Litigation Attorneys
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, is seeking litigation attorneys for its Denver, CO office.
About the role
Ideal candidates will engage in complex litigation in both state and federal court, with opportunities for professional development. The position requires self-starters who can manage their own litigation, formulate and implement discovery plans (including taking and defending depositions), evaluate potential insurance liability exposures, prepare case assessments, and balance multiple matters while producing high-quality work product.
Responsibilities
- Litigate insurance coverage and extra-contractual cases
- Handle Colorado first- and third-party property and casualty insurance coverage matters
- Manage professional liability, UIM/UM coverage, life, health, disability, and bad faith litigation
- Develop and execute discovery plans, including depositions
- Assess insurance liability exposures and prepare case evaluations
- Balance multiple litigation matters while maintaining high work product standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage and extra-contractual cases
- Experience with Colorado insurance litigation (first- and third-party property/casualty, professional liability, UIM/UM, life, health, disability, and bad faith)
- Strong academic credentials and proven skills in writing, research, and litigation
- Licensed and admitted to practice in Colorado

Pay
$125,000–$195,000 per year. Actual compensation is tailored to each individual based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
