Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients in matters related to insurance coverage and defense
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various insurance coverage issues
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings
• Conduct and defend depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery requests
• Collaborate with the team of attorneys and paralegals to develop strong defense strategies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage and defense
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients in a clear, concise, and timely manner

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Texas State Bar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and defense
• Proven experience in legal writing, deposition handling, and court representation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound legal judgments
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong commitment to ethical legal practice

Pay

$150,000 - $250,000 per year
