About the role

Established, reputable law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. The role is split 50/50 between insurance coverage and insurance defense, requiring 2+ years of civil litigation experience and 1+ years of experience with first‑party/third‑party insurance coverage. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain bar licensure in both North Carolina and South Carolina within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters.
• Manage first‑party and third‑party insurance coverage and defense cases.
• Work in a team‑oriented environment managing multiple cases.
• Maintain NC and SC bar licensure (or obtain within the first year).

Requirements

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience with first‑party/third‑party insurance coverage.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain NC and SC bar licensure within one year if not already licensed.

Qualifications
