About the role

Fortune-Johnson is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Administrator to support our project teams in managing construction-related insurance programs. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with project-specific insurance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Notices of Award to the insurance broker (Alliant).
  • Collaborate with Alliant's Insurance Administrator and the Project Team to ensure subcontractors and material suppliers meet insurance compliance standards.
  • Maintain and organize all project insurance documentation.
  • Track and manage insurance compliance using Insurance Tracking systems and maintain project insurance folders.
  • Create and update sample COIs for miscellaneous vendors.
  • Provide general administrative support to project teams as needed.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of administrative experience within a fast-paced organization.
  • Some knowledge of Construction Insurance preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working in a high level, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

  • Knowledge of Insurance Practices: Understands CCIP/OCIP/SDI and basic contract insurance requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Works closely with project teams and supports administrative functions.
  • Adaptability: Able to shift focus and manage miscellaneous tasks in a dynamic environment.
