Instrumentation & Calibration Technician IV

About the role

The Instrumentation & Calibration Technician IV works independently to coordinate and facilitate calibration services on required equipment in support for production. They also report broken equipment and remove or deliver equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while working on equipment
• Coordinate with vendors for calibration activities
• Provide recalls as required to include facilitating calibration extensions as required
• Perform and arrange internal and external calibrations
• Maintain calibration records for accuracy
• Maintain MT&E through understanding of calibration procedures
• Prepare reports for non-conformances (out of tolerance) and corrective actions
• Train lower level calibration technicians

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in area of responsibility
• Experience with calibration, ANSI Z540.1, ISO 17025
