About the role
The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer IV is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex control systems and instrumentation in various industrial settings. This role requires extensive knowledge of automation technologies and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
- Oversee installation and commissioning of new instrumentation and controls
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and compliance
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure system reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering
- Proficient in automation software and hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces
- Experience with process control and safety systems
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
