Instrumentation & Calibration Technician

Responsibilities
- Calibrate equipment throughout the test cells and manufacturing.
- Perform calibrations and adjustments in accordance with approved standard procedures.
- Provide calibration services on measurement equipment and instruments used in production, quality control, laboratory, and manufacturing environments.
- Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and devices across multiple disciplines.
- Collect, compile, and measure data to support calibration traceability documentation and certificates.
- Create Instrument Control Numbers (ICNs) and document/filing calibration records in TMS system.
- Participate in the training and development of other team members.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation & electronics.
- 3-4 years of work experience directly related to calibration of electrical/mechanical instrumentation.
- Two years or more of calibration/instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Two to four years’ experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair or other related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems.
- Experience in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment including but not limited to: torque, load/force, strain, vibration, pressure, vacuum, temperature, weight, mass, AC/DC current/voltage.
- Physical lifting requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Strong knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems.
- Experienced in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret wire/mechanical schematics.
- Electronics troubleshooting and repair skills.
