Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
- Aid the surgeon with operatory setup and cleanup.
- Provide patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomes.
- Maintain an inventory of surgical supplies, medications, and replenish as needed.
- Ensure that instruments and equipment are effectively maintained.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- We welcome and train individuals with little to no experience as a medical assistant or dental assistant.
- Willingness to learn Front or Back-Office.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
- Consistent professionalism in appearance and attitude.
- Working on-site is essential to the function of this position.
- Must be able to stand up to 90% of the time at minimum.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods of time.
