Instrument Technician (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Aid the surgeon with operatory setup and cleanup.
• Provide patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomes.
• Maintain an inventory of surgical supplies, medications, and replenish as needed.
• Ensure that instruments and equipment are effectively maintained.
• Provide excellent patient care.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• We welcome and train individuals with little to no experience as a medical assistant or dental assistant.
• Willingness to learn Front or Back-Office.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
• Consistent professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5 hour shift

Special Requirements

• Working on-site is essential to the function of this position.
• Must be able to stand up to 90% of the time at minimum.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods of time.
