What You’ll Do
- Preparation, storage, processing, and sterilization of instrument trays and supplies.
- Ensures and maintains adequate supply levels.
- Checks for broken, defective, out-dated, or missing items and reports them to the manager.
- Adheres to procedures in accordance with department and OSHA guidelines.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or higher education.
- Experience in a medical or hospital environment, preferably working with medical surgical supplies.
- Sterile processing certification a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
