About the role
Join us as an Instrument Technician in Minimally Invasive Surgical Support working in the fast-paced Operating Room (OR). As an Instrument Technician you will be trained to positively impact the efficiency of the OR. This role does not have direct patient contact or direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate soiled instrumentation, cameras, scopes and other materials/instrumentation as needed.
- Prep and pack decontaminated items for sterilization.
- Manage the maintenance, care, cleaning and repair of our instrument/scope sets in a hands-on environment.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must live within 30 minutes of our contracted hospitals.
- Able to work flexible hours and participate in a call rotation including weekends/holidays.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to be on-call.
- Must be able to successfully complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules.
