Summary Of Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Function as a resource to collegiate faculty in production, repair, and maintenance of equipment necessary to conducting scientific research and class-based projects.
• Work under the supervision of the dean of the college of science, engineering and technology and work closely with college faculty and staff.
• Assist in the design, construction and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and equipment for scientific investigations.
• Offer regular machine-specific training for students that require machine tool and/or rapid prototyping equipment for research or class projects.
• Train and supervise student workers in the maintenance of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
