About the role

The Instrument Intern will participate in the Borger Refinery Craft Student Internship Program, which provides opportunities for career success through hands-on learning experiences. Interns are expected to participate as contributing and active members of their craft team, effectively communicate with all levels of the team, and ask questions that facilitate learning while respecting the professional demands and experience of their co-workers.

The anticipated internship start date is March 2027. Interns will continue to work during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters and will work with their supervisor to set a part-time work schedule around classes and other educational obligations. This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment; if you meet the required qualifications, a link to complete the assessment will be emailed immediately after your completed application is received. The assessment must be completed within 7 days of your application date or prior to the job posting expiration date, whichever is earlier. Assessment results are valid for one year.

The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo.
