Instructor-Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Critical Care/Medical-Surgical Nursing
About the role
Critical care and/or medical-surgical expertise is sought for a 12 month, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at Creighton University’s College of Nursing. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in the critical care or medical-surgical setting
- Curriculum development
- Academic advising
- Service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing (doctoral degree preferred)
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in medical surgical and/or critical care
- Experience in classroom and simulation instruction
- The use of technology in classroom and lab instruction
- Clinical supervision
- Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a master's degree in nursing (doctoral degree preferred) and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in medical surgical and/or critical care. Experience in classroom and simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction, and clinical supervision is preferred.
