About the role
Creighton University’s College of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with pediatric expertise.
Responsibilities
- Teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in the pediatric acute care setting
- Curriculum development
- Academic advising
- Service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing (doctoral degree preferred)
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in pediatric acute care
- Experience in classroom and simulation instruction
- Experience with the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction
- Experience in clinical supervision
- Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing
- Experience in community-based settings
