Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in various HVAC service technician processes and techniques, ensuring safety and industry standards.
- Develop lesson plans, track attendance, and assess student progress.
- Prepare students for certification exams where applicable.
- Maintain equipment and identify necessary supplies for instruction.
- Foster teamwork, professionalism, and workplace communication skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma with 5+ years of HVAC service experience or an associate degree.
- 10+ years in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- EPA 608 Certification.
- Expertise in preparing students for industry-recognized certification.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC safety, blueprint reading, and HVAC-related math.
- Proficiency in MS Office for email and recordkeeping.
Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching adult learners preferred.
