Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care settings.
- Create a clinical environment that supports students' academic growth and professional development.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
- Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
- Attend faculty meetings.
- Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.

- Create and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.

- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Organize and prioritize workflow efficiently.
- Supervise students in the clinical setting.
- Deliver lessons at the level of an RN or PN student.
- Show knowledge and experience in a specific nursing specialty.
- Have relevant experience as a Registered Nurse to enhance student learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Valid state RN license required.
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
