Instructor for a Nursing College

Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. We are committed to fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment where students can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
• Create a clinical environment that supports students' academic growth and professional development.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
• Attend faculty meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Current valid state RN license
• At least 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

• Motivated, self-directed, and team-oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow effectively.
• Supervisory skills in the clinical setting.
• Effective lesson delivery at the level of an RN or PN student.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.
• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse to contribute to student learning.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
