Instructor for a Nursing College - Knoxville

About the role

Jersey College is seeking a Registered Nurse Instructor to join our dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will provide clinical instruction at various healthcare settings and foster the academic and professional growth of nursing students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
• Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes students' academic and professional development.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation methods to assess student learning and clinical experiences.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid state RN license.
• A minimum of three years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
