About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking to fill one full-time faculty position in the tenure track. Rank is dependent upon experience. The position involves patient care, teaching, and research in clinical dermatology. The department comprises over 40 faculty (including 4 Mohs surgeons and 2 allergists), 11 residents, and 8 advanced practitioners, and is located in Salt Lake City, UT. Responsibilities

• See patients in clinics at the University Hospital, its satellite sites, or the nearby VA hospital.
• Supervise medical students and residents in the clinical setting.
• Participate in the teaching of dermatology residents.
• Take part in research activities involving clinical dermatology.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology.
• Experience working in settings with students and a strong commitment to improving access to higher education.
