About the role
The Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in the tenure track. Rank is dependent upon experience. The ideal candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology.
Responsibilities
- See patients in clinics at the University Hospital, its satellite sites, or the nearby VA hospital
- Supervise medical students and residents in the clinical setting
- Teach dermatology residents
- Participate in research activities involving clinical dermatology
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology
- Experience in academic medicine
- Strong teaching skills
- Research potential
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program
- Successful completion of the American Board of Dermatology examination
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective organizational and time management skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
