About the role
The Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking full-time faculty in the clinical track. Rank is dependent upon experience. Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in dermatology.
Responsibilities
- See patients in clinics at the University Hospital, its satellite sites, or the nearby VA hospital
- Serve as a mentor to medical students and residents in the clinical setting
- Teach dermatology residents
- Involvement in research activities involving clinical dermatology
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology
- Experience in general dermatology, pigmentary disorders/vitiligo, nail disease, skin of color, psoriasis, pediatric dermatology, and complex wound care
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Dermatology
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent teaching abilities
- Research experience in dermatology

Department
Our department has approximately 52 faculty members (including 4 Mohs surgeons, 1 Mohs fellow and 5 allergy specialists). We also have 11 residents and 8 advanced practice clinicians.
