About the role
The University of Utah, Department of Dermatology, seeks an outstanding allergy/immunology physician, clinical track to join a five-allergist, >40 dermatologist practice. Applicant must be board certified in either Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. Applicant must also be board certified in Allergy/Immunology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a full-service outpatient A/I clinic, including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy and drug desensitization.
- Participate in clinical trials and NIH funded research, including programs for asthmatic children on the Navajo Nation and development of novel methods of detection for EoE.
- Supportive, well-developed dermatology infrastructure allows opportunity for innovation, superb patient-centered service, research, and growth.
- Comfort seeing children and adults is preferred.
- Outstanding clinical care and service is a must.
Requirements
We have developed a full-service outpatient A/I clinic, including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy and drug desensitization. Our clinic makes the University of Utah the first academic center in the nation to offer oral immunotherapy for food allergy outside of the research setting. We are involved in clinical trials and NIH funded research, including programs for asthmatic children on the Navajo Nation and development of novel methods of detection for EoE.
Qualifications
- Trained at a leading A/I institution.
- Outstanding references.
Skills
Comfort seeing children and adults is preferred. Outstanding clinical care and service is a must.
