About the Role

The primary responsibility of the Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) is to enhance and improve the teaching and learning process through technology. The role involves collaboration with school teams, state teams, and national teams to develop, implement, and support technology-rich educational strategies that align with the CSUSA Education Model.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred in areas such as Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, Library Media Sciences, and Curriculum Instruction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in K-12 Teaching, Media Specialist, and/or Instructional Technology.
• Must hold a teaching certificate from any state.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical methods and how they relate to technology integration.
• Proficiency in various educational technologies and digital platforms.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain Apple Learning Coach and Microsoft Educator Trainer recognitions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to work with people of various backgrounds and all levels of technical knowledge.
• Able to train and motivate adult learners.
