Instructional Support Assistant (TK Bilingual Preferred)
About the role
The Instructional Support Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom. They assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, providing additional support to students who need extra help.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in planning and implementing lessons
- Assist students with individualized learning plans
- Provide additional academic support to students
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Pass the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test
- Hold an Associate Degree or higher
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of educational technology tools

Pay
$21.05 - $23.24 per hour, starting salary DOE.
Schedule
5 hours per day, 195 days per year.
