About the role
The Instructional Support Assistant (TK) position is part-time, working 5 hours per day for 195 days per year. The starting salary is DOE.
Requirements
- Bilingual Preferred
- Proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or possession of an AA degree or higher
- Completion of the following:
- Fingerprinting/background checks
- Verification of freedom from Tuberculosis
- Verification of I-9 Employment Eligibility

Skills
A Pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, and passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
