Job Summary

Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be hired contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the following:

• Fingerprinting/background checks
• Verification of freedom from Tuberculosis
• Verification of I-9 Employment Eligibility

Requirements / Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must submit:

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters, 1 from a current or former employer, 2 personal)
• Other (A pre-requisite for employment is proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or possession of an AA degree or higher)
• Resume

A Pre-requisite For Employment As An Instructional Assistant Is The Proof Of Passing The Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test For The Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions To Taking The Test Are

• Possession of a current California Teaching Credential
• Possession of an AA degree or higher
• At least 48 units
• Passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test)

Job Type: Part Time, Schedule: 5hpd / 195days per year -.25hpd/194 days, Salary: $21.05 - $23.24 & $17.73 - $19.53 Starting Salary D.O.E
