About the Role
The Instructional Support Assistant position is a part-time role with a flexible schedule of approximately 4.85 hours per day, 195 days per year. Starting salary is determined based on experience and qualifications.

Pay

Schedule
Approximately 4.85 hours per day, 195 days per year.
Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be hired contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the following:
- Fingerprinting/background checks,
- Verification of freedom from Tuberculosis,
- Verification of Covid-19 Vaccine,
- I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
