About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach exceptional students according to individual education plans following adopted curriculum, instructional methods, monitoring systems.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Evaluate student performance regularly and provide feedback to parents and guardians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and certification in Exceptional Student Education.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and resources for deaf and hard of hearing students.
