Instructional Coach

Full-time, 10-month, tenure-track teaching assignment.

About the role

Instructional Coach at Salt Point Center. The successful candidate will work with teachers to improve lesson quality and student education, serving as a peer mentor in pedagogy and modeling continuous improvement and lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of formative and summative student data and make recommendations to augment and/or modify instruction.
• Use observation and achievement data to identify professional development needs.
• Assist in the design and delivery of site-based professional learning.
• Collaborate with administrators on curriculum and pedagogy.

Requirements

• At least five years of teaching experience.
• Tenured as a teacher.
• Hold a valid teaching certificate.
• Deep knowledge of and experience with implementing instructional leadership practices at the building level.
