About the role
The role of an instructional coach is to support teachers in improving their teaching practices and student learning outcomes. This includes providing professional development, observing classroom instruction, offering feedback, and collaborating with teachers to implement effective strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted professional development to enhance teaching skills and classroom management techniques.
- Observe and provide feedback on classroom instruction to improve educational quality.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Support teachers in creating and implementing differentiated lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student achievement.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current educational research and best practices.
- Experience with data-driven decision making.
- Proficiency in using technology tools for instructional improvement.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
