About the role
The District has an anticipated opening for a full time Instructional Assistant through ESS. The successful candidate must be willing to be hired by ESS.
Responsibilities
- Serves as registrar for the Central Registration Office
- Works within a team structure to support the daily functions of the Registration Office
- Maintains the confidentiality of all information associated with the position and which may come to the attention of the position
- Greets and assists families as they complete the registration processes, often as their first introduction to the Burlington Township School District
- Efficiently uses Google Suite (email, Drive, Meet) to communicate with families and with staff
- Uses PowerSchool and/or supporting resources to review enrollment forms for accuracy and completeness, and applies office protocols to manage the forms effectively, in collaboration with families
- Uses appropriate procedures and resources to communicate with families for whom English is not a primary language
- Works with appropriate team members to facilitate registrations with special circumstances such as homelessness or temporary residency per procedure
- Participates in in-service training as assigned
- All other responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction

Qualifications
- 60 credits of college coursework in education or a related field to hold substitute certification
- Ability to communicate in English, effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong clerical skills including computer literacy
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
- Strong organizational ability and teamwork skills
