About the Role
Assist with the physical, emotional, and educational needs of students with disabilities in a mild/moderate setting. Applicant must be highly qualified.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
- 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
- Pass the ParaPro Assessment
- Complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment
Additional training is available through the Special Education department, allowing the employee to increase to lane 4 upon completion.
Pay
Effective July 1, 2026: Lane 3 Step 1 at $19.94/hour.
