Instructional Assistant Self-Contained I PT - Highly Qualified (Title I School)

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university
• 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment

Training Requirements

• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment
• Additional 40 hours of training available through the Special Education department, allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion
• Additional training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment

Effective July 1, 2026: Lane 4 Step 1 ($21.33/Hour)
