Instructional Assistant Mild/Mod I PT - Highly Qualified (Title I School)

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
• 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment

Training Requirements

• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment
• Additional training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 4 upon completion

Pay

Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour) effective July 1, 2026. Salary schedules available.
