Job Description

Instructional Assistant I / II / III support our elementary instructional program. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties.

• Supports classroom teachers in the delivery of instruction.
• Assists in the organization and preparation of instructional materials.
• Assists in the supervision of students during recess, lunch, and other breaks.
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Provides assistance to students with special needs as needed.

Qualifications

• List on application experience that is relevant to this position in addition to providing the required documentation listed in this vacancy.
• Must possess or be willing and able to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.

• [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
