Schedule: Length of Work Day: 6 hours
Qualifications: IA III: List on application experience that is relevant to this position in addition to providing the required documentation listed in this vacancy.
Responsibilities: Support our severe/emotionally disturbed students. Work with students who have a Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Work with students designated as an emotionally disturbed (ED) class or an autism class or assigned to a Behaviorist to assist individual students. Experience working with groups of children; experience working with impaired children or adults highly desirable; coursework in child development highly desirable.
Requirements: Non-Title Sites: Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list:
- [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam** - testing date must be April 2005 to current.
- [B]Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
Materials Required/Requirements: Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.
