Institutional Advice Manager
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Include a section only when posting has real specific content. Avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections only if posting actually states them. We need to parse the posting. Key content: - Intro paragraph: "Lead with Purpose, Unlock Your Team’s Passion At LPL, people leaders hold the key to the employee experience — shaping culture, driving performance, and guiding individuals to new heights. Because when that happens, we all win – clients, LPL, and most importantly our, employees. If you're ready to lead with intention and discover what’s possible, LPL Financial invites you to apply today. Are you a dynamic leader passionate about coaching financial advisors and driving exceptional client outcomes? This role focuses on advisor development, sales performance, and client experience within a phone-based advice model. The manager partners with bank and credit union executives, drives operational excellence, and ensures advisors are equipped to deepen relationships and deliver holistic financial guidance." - Responsibilities: bullet list (multiple lines). We'll list each as
- .
- "What Are We Looking For?" paragraph: prose.
- Requirements: bullet list (3+ years experience, Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, Ability to obtain FINRA Series 9/10 within 6 months of hire, 1+ year of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring professionals in a sales or advisory environment)
- Core Competencies: bullet list (Ability to influence senior-level stakeholders and build strong institutional partnerships, Critical thinking and strategic decision-making skills, Strong communication and interpersonal effectiveness, Data-driven approach to sales performance and business insights, Commitment to coaching, development, and continuous improvement)
- Preferences: bullet list (Experience working with bank or credit union investment programs, Prior experience managing licensed financial advisors, Experience in a phone-based or centralized advice model, Familiarity with fee-based advisory platforms, financial planning tools, and insurance solutions, Experience driving client acquisition and advisor productivity initiatives)
- Pay Range: "$94,039.00 - $156,663.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Additionally, LPL Total Rewards package is highly competitive, designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play – such as 401K matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, volunteer time off, and more. Your recruiter will be happy to discuss all that LPL has to offer!"
- Company Overview: paragraph(s) about LPL.
- Additional paragraphs: "Join the LPL team and help us make a difference by turning life’s aspirations into financial realities." Then "Please log in or create an account to apply to this position. Principals only. EOE. Information on Interviews: ..." Those are boilerplate/application instructions/EOE etc. Should be removed.
We need to include sections only when there is real specific content. So we can have sections: About the role (maybe combine intro and job overview?), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications (maybe Core Competencies?), Skills (Preferences?), Benefits (maybe mention Total Rewards?), Pay (Pay Range). Schedule: not mentioned, so omit.
We need to decide headings: The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can use those headings if content exists. We need to decide what goes under each. - About the role: could include the introductory paragraph and Job Overview. That's substantive. - Responsibilities: list. - Requirements: list of the four bullet items. - Qualifications: maybe Core Competencies? Or we could treat Core Competencies as Qualifications. The instruction includes Qualifications as a possible heading. We'll put Core Competencies under Qualifications. - Skills: Preferences list. - Benefits: mention Total Rewards package (401K matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, volunteer time off, etc). That's substantive. - Pay: Pay Range paragraph. We must not include filler like "Actual base salary varies based on factors..." but that is part of Pay description; it's substantive. We'll keep. We must not include boilerplate like "Your recruiter will be happy to discuss all that LPL has to offer!" That's maybe okay as part of Benefits/Pay? It's somewhat generic but still part of the posting. Might be considered filler? It's not a placeholder like "commensurate with experience". It's a statement about recruiter discussing benefits. Could keep but maybe it's fluff. However instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we should keep it unless it's clearly boilerplate like EEO, legal, application instructions. The recruiter line is part of the benefits description; it's not boilerplate. We'll keep. We must not include sections like Schedule if not present. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Thus we will strip out: "Please log in or create an account to apply to this position. Principals only. EOE. Information on Interviews: LPL will only communicate with a job applicant directly from an @lplfinancial.com email address and will never conduct an interview online or in a chatroom forum. During an interview, LPL will not request any form of payment from the applicant, or information regarding an applicant’s bank or credit card. Should you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact LPL’s Human Resources Solutions Center at (855) 575-6947. EAC 5.19.26" Also remove duplicate "For further information about LPL, please visit www.lpl.com." appears twice; we can keep one maybe but it's somewhat boilerplate. It's not legal but it's a generic link. Might be considered navigation? It's a reference. Might be okay to keep but it's not substantive about the role. The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." The link to website is navigation-ish; could be considered navigation. Safer to remove it. Also the company overview paragraph includes that link twice; we can keep the overview but remove the link sentences. The overview includes: "For further information about LPL, please visit www.lpl.com." We'll remove those sentences. Also "At LPL, independence means that advisors and institution leaders have the freedom they deserve to choose the business model, services, and technology resources that allow them to run a thriving business. They have the flexibility to do business their way. And they have the freedom to manage their client relationships, because they know their clients best. Simply put, we take care of our advisors and institutions, so they can take care of their clients." That's somewhat generic but still about company. Might be okay to keep as part of Company Overview. It's not boilerplate legal. We'll keep. Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll structure:
