Installation Technician

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and set up pump equipment.
- Perform onsite preventive maintenance and routine repairs after installation.
- Conduct moderately complex customer support activities, including installations, routine repairs, and maintenance of chemical injection pumps and accessories.
- Assemble parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
- Inspect materials, components, and subassemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, or verbal instructions.
- Process and submit customer service transactions, such as service tickets, accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding in-stock item availability.
- Answer basic customer inquiries and provide technical product and application support.
- Refer customers to local sales representatives for further sales and service requests.
- Make deliveries to customer locations and obtain signatures as required.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older to drive a company vehicle.
- Must pass a drug screen, background check, and physical assessment.
- Motor vehicle records must meet company driving policy standards.
- Must meet DOT physical requirements and training.
- Must be able to travel to client sites from the shop—up to 90%.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, installation, and/or repairs.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Immigration sponsorship is not offered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety, proper hand and power tool use, and motorized material movement equipment.
- Vocational/technical training or certifications.
- Experience with injection pumps.
Physical Demands
- Role is safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
- Minimal crawling, climbing stairs, balancing, keyboard use, and dialing (less than 10%).
- Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, lifting up to 40 lbs, reaching, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling, standing, writing, and speaking (11% - 33%).
- Frequent handling, fingering, sitting, walking, and driving a company vehicle (33% - 66%).
- May be required to obtain certain vaccinations based on customer location requirements.
Pay
$22 – $30/hr. plus a quarterly bonus program (depending on experience). New hire training provided.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. Potential overtime and weekend work.
